Episode 7- Movie News (The Writers Strike is Over)

Okay so I kinda put this one out a little late but I go over the weekend of Feb. 9 box office summary and I talk about the end of the writers strike. (Yeah we get the full Oscars!) Sorry it was a while since I recorded it so I can't remember much but that was the main stuff, I hope I was more interesting in the podcast than this recap is.
Please write us review in iTunes and vote in the pole.

Yay! The Oscars! I was so happy for Diablo Cody and that Once won for best song!!! There were some great dresses and funny jokes. The girl from La Vie En Rose seemed so sweet (what is the title in English). It wasn't really a show of surprises but that is okay. What ar your thoughts?

thanxs for the comment me and fiona are going to record a show with all our thoughts on the oscars on friday. I have way to many opinions to say here (lol)but I was also exstadic when Diablo Cody and the Once song won. I was also super happy when Marion Cotillard won, but I feel like the only won who say that movie. "La Vie En Rose" in english is the The Life In Rose technically but it really means some thing like seeing the would through happy or optimistic eyes. It is called that because it is the name of one of her songs. I guess was not that surprising or super interesting as a lot of people are saying but I can't really have an opinion cuz I'm kinda crazy and would be happy to was all of the movie people just sitting in a room, I know I'm crazy. lol

I had left a comment on the pre-show detailing my Oscar picks, but it must not have gone through and I've been ill the last week. No Country For Old Men rightfully took home the main share of the awards. Great to see Diablo Cody win for Juno, great night for Minnesota!

Listened to your spring preview show last night at work and enjoyed it. None of the movies really grabbed me though. Indy, Dark Knight, 007, and Star Wars movies still to come in 08. My mind is pretty much centered on one of those four.

Try to get a review written for iTunes for you soon.

I didn't actually see No Country but everyone I talked to agrees with you. I did see There Will Be Blood though. That was enough for me. The music, esp. in the first scene, really got me. Daniel Day-Lewis gave the performance of a life time so that's ok. I'm so glad Diablo Cody won, although I could have lived if, I think it's Tony Gilroy, for Micheal Clayton, had gotten the award.
I'm glad your like our latest cast. Yeah I'm really looking forward to Dark Knight (HUGE Ledger fan) and 007. I also want to see Inkheart. I love Paul Bettany and I'm excited to see Andy Serkis play a really bad guy, but this time where you can see his face, not the CG version of Gollum, although that was really good.
